On 10th December 2015 Stormport’s Nikki Wood (Finance Director) and Rachel Massey (who co-ordinates fund raising for the company) were delighted to present a cheque for £1000 to East Anglian Children’s Hospice (EACH) in Milton, Cambs. The money was raised directly from a 2015 safety campaign to encourage the reporting of near misses. EACH is one of Stormport’s chosen charities and it does a fantastic job in supporting families, children and young people living with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement. Five brave Stormport team members threw themselves willingly out of a plane on September 15th to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Thanks to the efforts of Matt Hipwell, Dean Joyce, Albert Sollini, Lynne Denoual, Billy Burr and the generosity of our sponsoring (land lubbing!) staff and customers, we are delighted to say that we raised £1360 for a very great cause.
Stormport are once again taking to the skies with a charity sky-dive, this time supporting Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan work tirelessly to make sure every single person who needs it gets support from their nurses and therapists. They make sure that everyone who needs it receives help with money worries from their advisers. They need to get to the point where everyone with cancer knows know they can turn to them for a chat with someone who understands. To give people practical support with the everyday things. Stormport is delighted to support Emerald Frog Marketing’s “5 Star Charity Auction” by donating a Samsung tablet to the campaign.
The charity auction to be held online from September 5th for 5 weeks has been organised by Emerald Frog Marketing in Cambridgeshire as part of their fifth birthday celebrations. Stormport is helping Emerald Frog Marketing to raise money to support five local charitable organisations who perform incredible work: Little Bundles, Branching Out, Froglife, The Liam Fairhurst Foundation and the Wildlife Trust.
